Ultimate Spin System: Ero Spin?-Chapter 58 - Make Him Realize
Lucas’s smirk widened as the room seemed to freeze in place. Diana’s expression was one of utter shock, her eyes darting between Lucas and Maya.
"You..." Diana stammered, her voice cracking. "Disgusying!.. Stop all of this, stop lying. This... this can’t be true!"
Maya shrugged, her tone nonchalant, though her gaze was sharp. "Why would we lie, Diana? After all, Victor’s been lying to you for years. Maybe it’s time you opened your eyes."
Diana’s hands trembled as she clenched them into fists. "No! This is just another one of your manipulations, Lucas. You’ll do anything to destroy Victor, even if it means dragging Maya into your disgusting games."
Lucas sighed, his expression hardening. "Diana, you’re exhausting. Always so quick to defend a man who doesn’t give a damn about you. Let me spell it out for you."
He tapped on the phone, pulling up another chat. The screen displayed messages exchanged between Victor and a woman named Clara. Lucas began to read aloud, his voice dripping with contempt.
---
Lucas stared at Diana with a cold, piercing gaze, his patience long gone. His grip tightened around Victor’s phone, the damning evidence within it burning like a fire in his hand.
"Diana," he began, his voice steady yet sharp, "I’ve had enough of your denial. If you won’t face the truth, then I’ll force you to."
Diana’s face twisted in anger, though her trembling hands betrayed her fear. "What truth, Lucas? That you’ve made it your mission to destroy my family? You’re obsessed with tearing us apart!"
Lucas smirked, though his eyes remained icy. "Obsessed? No, Diana. I’m just tired of watching you lie to yourself. Let me show you exactly who Victor really is."
With deliberate movements, he unlocked the phone and navigated to Victor’s messages. Opening a conversation with a woman named Clara, he read aloud, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade.
> "Victor: Sometimes, I don’t know how much longer I can tolerate her. She’s unbearable."
"Clara: Then why stay with her? You’ve already got me."
"Victor: Because her money guarantees my future. As long as I play my role, I can live comfortably for the rest of my life."
Diana’s expression crumbled, but she shook her head vehemently. "No, Lucas. That’s fake. You’ve fabricated this to make me doubt him!"
Lucas ignored her protest, scrolling further before continuing.
> "Victor: Do you really think I stayed married to Diana for love? No, it was for her father’s inheritance. Once that’s secured, I can finally live the life I deserve."
"Clara: And what about your daughter?" "Victor: She’s married and out of the house. My job is done there. I’m free to focus on what really matters—me."
Diana’s eyes widened, her lips trembling as she stammered, "He wouldn’t... Victor wouldn’t say those things. He’s a good husband... a good father!"
Lucas’s smirk disappeared, replaced by a look of sheer contempt. "A good father? A good husband? Let me read you one more thing."
He scrolled to another conversation, this time between Victor and a different woman. The messages painted an even darker picture.
> "Victor: Diana’s father’s death was the best thing that could’ve happened to us. His inheritance is all I’ve been waiting for." "Woman: And after you get it?"
"Victor: After I get it, I’m done. Diana is boring, unattractive, and frankly, not worth my time. She served her purpose. I’ll make sure to enjoy my life once the money is in my account."
The room fell silent as Lucas lowered the phone. Diana sat frozen, tears streaming down her face. "No," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "He didn’t mean that. He couldn’t have meant that."
Lucas leaned forward, his tone unforgiving. "How much more do you need to see, Diana? He used you. He used your father. And now he’s waiting to use your inheritance. Wake up."
Diana’s sobs grew louder, her entire body trembling. She buried her face in her hands, unable to refute the undeniable truth any longer.
Lucas stood up, slipping the phone into his pocket. His expression softened, though his voice remained firm. "You can keep crying over a man who never cared about you, or you can do something about it. The choice is yours."
Diana’s sobs filled the room, each tear falling like a fragile fragment of her shattered heart. Lucas stood tall, his eyes fixed on her, not with pity but with the calculated patience of someone steering a pawn into place. He crouched down, gently placing a hand on her trembling shoulder.
"Diana," he said softly, his tone unusually tender. "I know this is hard. No one deserves to be treated like this, least of all you. But you’re stronger than this. You don’t need him. Let me help you take back control of your life."
She lifted her head slightly, her red, tear-streaked face showing a mix of pain and anger. Her voice cracked as she whispered, "Why are you doing this, Lucas? Why do you care?."
Lucas’s lips curled into a small, almost imperceptible smile, the kind that hid a thousand intentions. The system notification still echoed in his mind.
[ Passive Skill - Charm of the Forbidden: Activated. Target meet the criteria. ]
Lucas took a deep breath as the system notifications echoed in his mind. Just the slightest crack in Diana’s loyalty to Victor, and Charm of the Forbidden activated instantly
Lucas observed Diana, her fragile demeanor making her even easier to manipulate. A satisfied smile crept across his face, though his mind was already several steps ahead, mapping out his next moves.
He pulled Diana into his arms, wrapping her in what felt like a protective embrace. She didn’t resist. Instead, she closed her eyes and cried harder, as though she had found shelter amidst the storm of emotions engulfing her.
"Diana," Lucas whispered softly, his voice low and deliberate, laced with reassurance, "I promise you, I’ll make Victor feel a pain so excruciating that he’ll regret every lie, every betrayal, and every time he took you for granted."
Diana’s sobs grew quieter, her trembling hands clutching onto Lucas’s shirt for support. Her voice was barely audible as she muttered, "But... what can I do? He has everything... I’m nothing without him."
Lucas tilted her chin up gently, forcing her to meet his gaze. His eyes softened, though his calculated intent remained. "You’re not nothing, Diana. You’re stronger than you think. Let’s make Victor realize how beautiful and delicious you are." he smirked.
