Villain transmigration: The doll maker.-Chapter 92:Kianah.
The insistent knock on my door woke me up from my sleep. I looked towards the window to see that it was still dark outside.
I turned to look at Jeneviv, who was still sleeping peacefully beside me, despite the noise, and pulled the cover that had slid down.
I dragged my heavy body and opened the door only to find Kianah standing by the door with an anxious look in her eyes.
She was dressed in her nightgown, which made her figure pop, but the look in her eyes wasn’t sexual or teasing, as I was used to.
I glanced around us but the hallway was quiet and she seemed to be the only one walking around at night.
’Why on earth was she walking around at this time of the night?’
"What’s the matter?"
I asked her. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned against the door frame waiting for her reply. She looked conflicted before running a hand through her hair in what looked like panic and frustration.
"I think Jeneviv went missing... we got into a fight over something silly and she ran out, expected her to come back but she didn’t. I’m worried. "
She rumbled on. Her eyes startedto become redder as tears started to gather barely holding on in her eyes. I could see the genuine worry and the scare it had caused her.
Jeneviv had basically been the one who had integrated her and taken care of her while she healed from the surgery.
My eyes widened before a small smile formed on my lips.
"Why did you fight?"
Kianah looked up at me in confusion. My reaction must not have been what she expected.
"It’s nothing serious, " she avoided my eyes and an awkward chuckle escaped her, "I....I told her, she won’t be able to bed master since she’s too small."
My fingers twitched. This was more ridiculous than I thought. These two wouldn’t stop going at each other’s throats and now I’ve been pulled into their little spats.
It wasn’t a bad result but it was mildly infuriating to know that.
"She’s here."
I said quietly and walked back into my room signaling for her to follow. Footsteps followed behind me as Kianah also entered my room.
"I’ve never come in here."
She said while curiously looking around the room. I stopped by the bed and pointed at the bundle inside the mountain of beddings. Only Jenevivs satisfied face could be seen.
"That’s her."
I said. Kianah’s eyes widened even further as the situation of what had happened came to light. Both our clothes were scattered near the bed and Jeneviv’s blue dress was at the top.
"Did you sleep with Jeneviv?"
She asked me. Jeneviv in her sleep decided to answer the question before I could. She turned in her sleep and the covers slid down revealing her ravished upper body.
"Yes."
I answered the obvious at the shocked Kianah. She glanced at my naked upper body then back at Jeneviv and sighed heavily.
She walked to the seats and sat down. I could see the pure shock and frustration in her eyes as she looked down at her hands. I walked over and sat opposite her studying her movements and reaction as I waited for her to start the conversation.
"Why did you do that?"
She said her voice was small. There was a hint of blame and hidden rage in her words but I ignored it. I hadn’t done anything wrong.
"Because I wanted to."
I said a short to-the-point answer. At the corner of the room, a light crystal flickered. My brows furrowed at that, the crystals needed to be changed before they went out on me.
"Then why won’t you do it with me whenever I ask?"
She asked forcefully and hit her fist on the soft cushion of the chair. I sighed heavily.
"How am I supposed to do that, when you had just had your surgery. I might be heartless most of the time but not towards you girls. Your body is still recovering thats why."
That was one of the main reasons. I wasn’t sure if stimulation could bring any effects since it had been my first procedure at that time.
I had tried it again but didn’t go to the extreme with the slaves in order see the negatives. I’ll probably do that when we find a place we could settle and buy slaves during our journey.
It had been a shame that this town did not sell slaves at all. The reason was that, the barbarians bought most of them and took them with them to their kingdoms.
No one trusted that they were buying a normal slave. Paranoia had led most of the nobles to believe that , the slaves barbarians, or people from other kingdoms bought were spies or might be used as a medium to pass information.
Not all border towns were not allowed to sell slaves. The kingdom chalked it up that they would spread the kingdom’s secrets if they were to be let out.
This was a ridiculous notion but they still maintained it after the war. News had been spread around by slaves to other kingdoms who openly bought them but they kept theirs .
This carelessness had brought a few damages to the kingdom.
This had led to a ban on selling slaves at the border towns. This was a desperate measure in my opinion since they couldn’t prevent the smuggling of slaves.
Kianah coughed stealing back my attention that had wandered.
"Young master, will I ever get a chance?"
Kianah asked her eyes glancing at the still oblivious Jeneviv. I sighed and nodded.
"But not right now, you’re all going to be with me for a very long time there is no need to worry about such trivial things. Just rest your pretty little head and just do what I assigned you."
I said to her with a gentle smile on my face. While I did want to sleep with every one of the girls, I wasn’t stupid enough to get controlled by lust.
"Okay master, I trust you the most."
Kianah said and leaned back on the chair carelessly. I watched as the tension in her body and worry drained as she processed what I said.
"Since you woke me up this early, how about you help me mix some herbs, i want to create a poison that would work on barbarians undetected. "
I said to her and leaned forward a gleam in my eyes. It doesn’t hurt to be cautious.
"Are you sure, barbarians have the best immunity against poison and we don’t really have a subject to test on."
She said and started to organise different plants on the table. I got the small equipment from my storage and organised it on the table.
"You can do it right? Two heads are better than one ."
Kianah was very proficient in plants and poison making, so that even I had to raise my hands in surrender at that. She is a very quick learner when it comes to plants and poison making.
"Okay, but I’m not really sure if it would work. Let’s start with Darline, Rothley,...."
She pointed at different plants enthusiastically while I picked them and placed them on the crusher, stirring slowly in accordance with the list.
Since the plants all contained magic, I had to be precise on everything inorder to not cause a reaction or explosion of an incomplete poison.
They weren’t bad but they had the worst smell in history. I’ve had a few of those mishaps happen to me , getting rid of the smell on your body was the painful part.
"..shouldn’t we add a bit of water, it’s becoming too thick and that’s not good?"
I cut her off in her instructions while continuing to stir the mixture with the motor. She paused and picked up a testing stick and swirled it in the mixture.
"You’re right, that’s too heavy. Can you just add half a jar don’t make it too much ."
I nodded and poured half of the water into the mixture.
It went from dark green to a purple colour the moment it touched water. I felt like a witch while doing this as I watched the little bubbles pop from the mixture.
"It’s going pretty well, there is no smell whatsoever. "
I said while still stirring.
"Master, can I ask you for another ingredient i think this might give us a better change and it could be completely hidden from other people’s sight."
She explained with barely concealed excitement as she looked at my body.
"What is it? Just spit it out instead of staring, you’ll burn a hole into my forehead at this point."
I teased her. She rolled her eyes and chuckled.
"Blood, master, I need your blood."
She held my hand and leaned over the table. The pleading look in her eyes was just about to sway me and I couldn’t help myself.
"No, too dangerous, and again I’m not giving you my blood. That should be a last option."
