Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes-Chapter 40: Perseus
Chapter 40: Perseus
Atlas had spent almost an hour doing detailed research. He wanted the person he would choose, a hero, the ’real’ hero.
After all, someone with a bit of strength could kill a mighty monster or save a country.
The person he was looking for was a person who could disregard his life without even thinking once, who would risk dying to save everyone as much as he could. It was not only someone who had killed a monster, but also someone who could even risk the destruction of his soul.
After this one hour, he was able to find this person.
In front of the huge system window in front of him, [Perseus] was written in a huge way.
He was considered one of the greatest heroes who ever lived. His father was Zeus himself, recognised as the king of the gods.
Perseus was personally sent by Athena to kill Medusa, one of the gorgons. Because of the danger of the mission, Athena and Hermes had to help the young hero.
He tracked the three sisters, Stheno, Euryale and Medusa for a long time. The fact that only Medusa was mortal among these three gorgon sisters was the biggest factor that showed why Athena issued the death warrant. Perseus somehow manages to wake up Medusa, one of the sisters he finds while the three sisters are sleeping.
Because of the powers of the three sisters’ gaze, Perseus manages to set up a plan in a short time and manages to direct it to Medusa’s face with the reflection reflected from his shield. At the end Medusa was killed by Perseus by cutting off her head.
From this head, Pegasus and a giant named Chrysaor come out. Although the other gorgons wake up to this sound, Perseus has already escaped from there with Hades’ Kynee.
Even if Perseus’ heroic life did not end here, this was exactly the story that made his entry into the hall of gods perhaps decisive. freewebnøvel.coɱ
Atlas, of course, already knew about all these stories and heroism. In his entire previous life, he had prayed to tens and hundreds of gods just to get stronger, and he had managed to get as many blessings as he could.
Except for the blessings of heroes.
That’s why he took a deep breath and then, with great hope, he clicked on the huge name written in the huge window in front of him:
[Are you sure you want to connect to {the Great Hero Perseus}?
YES/NO]
Staring at the window in front of him for a few seconds, Atlas smiled and then pressed yes.
As soon as he did so, he began to lose consciousness again. However, he realised that he would experience this feeling every time he made a choice.
When his eyes closed and opened again, he was on the edge of a cliff.
When he looked around, he could see the small house standing far away from the cliff. He could see the strange little fields around and he could also see small children running around and people of average age sitting close to each other.
He didn’t understand where he was. He thought he was going to meet Perseus, but he seemed to have come to a place he didn’t understand at all.
"Ah! You’re here? You have no idea how much of a headache you gave me with that choice you made." Atlas suddenly heard a few words.
He looked in the direction of the voice and saw a very handsome man with golden eyes and hair, to put it bluntly.
Atlas immediately bowed his head in respect and then said, "I was worried that I couldn’t see you, O great hero, forgive me."
This was Perseus himself. One of the only ancestors of the god Hercules. Andromeda’s husband and the killer of the sacred monster Medusa.
"Haha! It may have been short for you, but I have to say that I took quite a beating because of you, young man." Perseus suddenly complained.
Even though Atlas couldn’t understand what was going on, he realised that Perseus had started walking and immediately started to follow him.
After a short time, Perseus and his pursuer, Atlas, started to pass through many people and occasionally people of different races, and after the walk, they came in front of the house that Atlas had seen from afar.
Perseus signalled Atlas to sit down with his hand, and as soon as Atlas sat where he was shown, a glass full of wine appeared on the table in front of him.
Atlas smiled and then said, "I am 15 years old, sir, I am not allowed to drink wine. Even though I am considered a mature individual."
Perseus looked at Atlas in surprise and then said, "In my time, we started drinking at a very young age, surprisingly. It’s not going to affect you, drink."
Atlas, on the other hand, took the glass to drink the wine he had not tasted for a long time and then directly finished the wine in the glass.
"There we go, you just drank my first gift." Perseus suddenly said.
Atlas shook his head, quite puzzled, and then said, "I beg your pardon?"
"You’ll understand when you wake up. This was my first gift to you. Now I’m going to move on to the second. I haven’t quite made up my mind, but after all the beatings I’ve taken, I’ve got a good idea of what I can give you." Perseus said, and then stroked his chin and nodded as if he understood something.
"All right, I’ve got it," Perseus said after almost two minutes and then walked through the door of the house.
After only three minutes, Perseus came out of the house and came back to Atlas. However, his hand was not as empty as when he entered the house.
Perseus had a book in his hand.
As Atlas cleared his throat to ask what this book was, Perseus’ voice was heard:
"I heard that you needed aura arts while you were getting beaten up. Here, one of the arts I created, when you are a Third-Grade aura user, that is, when you use a third-level aura, it will help you a lot when you create your aura form."
Atlas shook his head when he heard these words, as if he didn’t understand what he was hearing...As the seconds chased each other, it seemed to dawn on him:
