CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 150: Punch
On their way out of a cemetery, a man walked out from the side of the gate.
"I have been here for many years but haven’t seen anyone visit Cage yet. Who are you? I know that his daughter will never come here."
The group stopped. Everyone turned at the man except for Crow.
A tall skinny man with messy hair that reached his chin. His blonde hair had a dark shade with the tips almost turned brown. A stubbly beard went around his jaw.
"And you are?"
"Clarence DeVore. At your service." The man tipped his fedora.
"Who are you to Cage?" Selina said.
"We’re brothers. Not in blood. But in name. Even if he’s dead, I can’t just let anyone disgrace his grave."
"Walk away, Dee." Crow suddenly spoke up.
Clarence widened his eyes. He knew that tone of voice from anywhere. It sounded a little different but that way of speaking was the same.
"Cee. It can’t be. How..."
"I hope you can keep this a secret, Dee. I have... debts I need to take care of." Crow said. He still didn’t face Clarence.
"Let me help you, Cee."
Crow shook his head. "Forget about today, Dee. We aren’t in the same world anymore."
Crow disappeared from his vision as he turned invisible.
Selina and Aurora didn’t stay behind either. They climbed on the motorcycle and drove away. Mater popped his head up and looked back at the man.
"Who’s that, Crow?" Mater asked the Abomination via their telepathic link.
"A friend of Aaron Cage. He fought alongside him. Don’t worry, Master. He won’t tell anyone. He’s very trustworthy."
"I will have to believe you then."
Crow turned into a bird and followed the motorcycle from above. They arrived at the AE Forges.
Mater had used Minor Distortion to hide the water shield above their head. In front of every other person’s eyes, there was nothing wrong.
There weren’t a lot of people around AE Forges that day because of the rain. The group went inside the forge studio without anyone seeing them.
Mater approached the Infernal Shrine and called out to Bash. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
The large Infernal Demon jumped out of the steel flower. He was slightly bigger. His horns were more demonic. His bone exoskeleton seemed rougher and more defined and his face was more terrified.
But when the Demon saw Mater, he turned into a little puppy.
"Master! You came! Bash bored!" Bash said.
"There. There. I am here now."
The black cat pulled the Demon inside the Dark Grimoire to check his details.
[Infernal Brute-Demon]
[Description]: A demon born out of the souls of cultists. It feasted upon the souls of despicable criminals and from them, its power grew. Its past was wiped clean, leaving only eternal loyalty to its one and only Master.

[Spells]:
- Charge: A simple and ordinary charge. It is twice as fast when charging. It gains major resistance to movement restricting effect during Charge. (Changed)
- Jump: A simple and ordinary jump. It can jump three times higher than it normally can.
- Punch: A simple straight punch. This punch can’t be interrupted.
[Passive Abilities]:
- Hellfire Skin: Those who hurt it with melee attack shall be repulsed with hellfire.
- Bone Armor: It has a natural exoskeleton that raises its resistance to all damage types.
- Demonic Body: It has resistance to all negative effects.
- Demonic Brute: It passively heals itself over time.
"As simple as always," the black cat meowed.
Bash awakened one new spell, ’Punch’. Its description was very plain. But Mater knew that it would pack quite a punch in action.
Its ’Charge’ spell was also enhanced. Now it would be less likely to be stopped while charging.
Bash didn’t have a huge make-over. Mater didn’t need him to. The black cat only wanted a good tank that could protect everyone on the front line.
Bash’s all attributes and strength were also raised significantly. His Chaos Well and abilities didn’t change much. But his passive abilities were much more effective now.
"We’ve gathered everyone. I think it’s time for our next bounty, Selina." The black cat meowed.
Selina nodded. They followed thirty bounties. 27 of them were Iron Rank. They gave good Chaos but didn’t really help Selina much in credits and rankings.
They still had 3 Bronze Rank missions left.
"Which one should we choose?" Selina said.
"Let’s have a look at it shall we."
"Cursed Family: The Lambkins.
Bounty Rank: Bronze.
Case Description: The Lambkins is a family of cultists that followed a very obscure religion. The Lambkins committed mass suicide and all seven members of the family were found dead on late January of 2026. The Lambkins is currently haunting their old mansion. Any attempt to remove the mansion will result in extreme retaliation from the NCEs.
Related Information: Confirmed at least 7 NCEs. Average Menace Level and above. No Hazard Level.
Behavioral Loop: NCEs only become active at night and will submerge before sunrise. Will start terrorizing any on sight humans. Animals are not the focus of the NCE based on past experiments.
Weakness: Unknown. Though the NCEs will not attack if you hold a burning incense stick.
Location: Barrera Street, Aeliz City.
Objective: Neutralize all NCEs and prevent resurgence.

"Ruined Factory: White Seam Incorporation
Bounty Rank: Bronze
Case Description: A mass fire has killed a total of 700 workers inside the White Seam Factory. All the workers were unable to leave in time and therefore, died tragically. The deceased began to haunt the factory in October of 2025.
Related Information: Confirmed at least 200 NCEs or more. Average Menace Level and below. Very few average Menace Level NCEs. Most are Weak Menace Level.
Behavioral Loop: All living beings, humans or animals, would be trapped inside the factory if they go inside. From past experiences of survivors, all living beings must succeed in a combination of tasks inside the factory to leave.
Weakness: Fire. Fire and natural fire light seems to push back the NCEs but can’t hurt them. NCEs will ignore the fire if there are enough NCEs together.
Location: Fairweather Street, Aeliz City.
Objective: Neutralize all NCEs and prevent resurgence.

Bounty Rank: Bronze
Case Description: A pair of NCEs in the form of two children, roughly 7 or 8 years old. The origin of the NCEs is unknown. The first case record was around July 2019.
Related Information: Confirmed 2 NCEs. Average Menace Level and above. Very hard to detect an exact location as the NCEs seem to pop up randomly on the highway around the Aeliz City area.
Behavioral Loop: The NCEs appeared on the National A1 Highway from 23:00 to 04:00. They will ask any passerby to let them in their vehicle. If the passerby agrees, they will be killed instantly.
Weakness: Unknown. However, if the passerby keeps driving (even straight through the NCEs), the passerby will survive with the voices of the NCEs haunting them for a few miles before disappearing.
Location: National A1 Highway, Aeliz City.
Objective: Neutralize all NCEs and prevent resurgence.
