Chapter 2602: 2602. Only Some Similarity

The radiant light elves quickly caught more and more attention. Their height set them apart from the other elves along with the fact that they radiated such potent light mana. This was just going to be a fact of things though. The radiant light elves couldn’t change their appearance at will.

The walk toward where Walker knew that Alma would like to meet them, the light elemental tree standing tall and increasing the purity of light mana in the entirety of the light dragon territory, was far enough away that walking there drew even more attention. However, it was better to walk. Better to show off the visitors from the light elemental pane. ’

This wasn’t just because the Genesis alliance wanted to see these radiant light elves. It was so that the radiant light elves could feel the changes in mana and why they had to improve their buffs while also being mindful of how to handle the changes overall.

The radiant light elves also have the ability to learn and see what Genesis was all about. They had passed through two small market streets already. It was enough for them to understand that they were able to find and see items they may never have seen before. Especially when it comes to food.

The diets of each race were different, yes, but there was also the fact that there were plenty of foods that were not even possible to be grown in the light elemental planes. This was the same for even kingdoms and certain food items.

It was odd how food was something that attracted the attention of every race regardless of which race it was. Everyone and everything had to eat in some form or another. Whether it was mana used to sustain them or physical foods grown from the ground, it was all about sustenance and growth.

The white turnips that they passed by drew a lot of attention from the radiant light elves. They could sense the light mana within them along with the more calm aspects of that light mana. They had not seen a vegetable like it with the addition of calm light mana best suited to nourishing the body and even purifying the body ever so slightly. Walker had shared the all around appraisal allowing them all to feel as if they might be finding even more interesting aspects of the world to stand in awe of.

This was after they had already begun asking questions about the various buildings and rune formations they were seeing. The buildings were radically different than what they described.

From what Walker was able to take away from the radiant light elves, they mostly crafted their homes out of naturally claimed light elemental woods. They would grow and fall naturally and then the radiant light elves would procure these fallen wood materials to build taller structures from. All that gathered light mana naturally to allow them easier manipulation of light when they needed it.

While a small fact, this was enough to give Walker an idea that the radiant light elves had great respect for the nature that they lived in, even if it was within the light elemental plane and not the world. They could use this aspect to relate to the elves who cared for their lands and the nature all around them to a much higher degree, especially nowadays as they had so much to explore and discover.

"I take it you are our new friends coming to visit the elves?" Gil seemed to step out of nowhere. Not that Walker hadn’t noticed him sneaking around for the past ten minutes getting a feeling of who the radiant light elves were and what they might be like. Gil had to be a little cautious before he began speaking with them. There was a high chance that Alma would need support while building a relationship with them.

"This is Gil. He was once entirely human, however, he began learning and studying with the forest elves and even the other affinity elves living in different regions of the world. He is one of the main factors that came forth helping unite the divided elf race and reawaken the high elf bloodline. He was even granted that bloodline by an ancestor’s magic left to help the elven race as a whole. He also carries the title of hero just as I do."

The radiant light elves noticed Gil’s striking differences from what they believed an elf should look like. Ears not as pointed as they should be. Not as tall as other elves might be. Then there was the air about him. Gil as a mystery.

The manas around Gil followed his moves due to his master over the high elf dagger technique. He had literally reconstructed it while also being able to teach and learn the individual elemental parts. Meaning that now, Gil’s very movements were more in tune with natural mana flow all around him than any other elf.

While the radiant light elves had been able to move and feel the light mana change because of their presence, the way that other mana moved around Gil was unknown, a mystery. So much so that they struggled to respond to his arrival properly.

"You are all very much like the other elves. We have some light affinity elves but they are few and far between. The elf race is still recovering their ancient history along with the high elf bloodline. We’ve heard of other elves and you are new to us as well. So, let’s take things slow and see what we can learn from one another. Maybe I can show you a thing or two about making arrows in the world."

Walker wanted to take one out of Remey’s book and punch Gil in the arm. He was trying to get right in to archery knowledge. His obsession with archery, arcane archery, was getting more and more ridiculous at times. Especially since it’s the first thing Gil tried to get these radiant light elves to share.

"We do not follow archery any longer. We found magic a much greater strength. Archery is our history. We wish to see where our light magic originated, how it changed to become our magic. How our ancestors felt as they carved out a new path."

Gil looked ready to argue but then very curious. His multiple emotions were an array themselves of what he would wish to do and learn from the radiant light elves. However, the fact that they also wished to learn about archery and how their magical skills used to be a more traditional elven archery changed.

"Then we can sit and learn from one another." Hip seemed to have accepted that they might not be archery crazy as the other elves might be at times. "We have magic that each elf worked on to create natural skills perfect for their homes and their affinities. They are changing though, as are the times and every race too. That doesn’t mean we can not find you an origin to study."

This was better, Walker saw that Gil was looking at the sharing aspects better now rather than his gut desires.

"My wife is the current elf queen. She grew up under the first elves and as the elves united she became a police of unity for them. She is deeply connected to the elemental trees you see towering over the territories and the central tree uniting the manas as natural mana. You will enjoy the light side more I am sure of it though."

The white leaves that became iridescent while swaying greeted them. They had been moving along the entire time teaching the vase of the light elemental tree flickering with rune formations and surrounded by those meditating. The environment right next to it was dense in an array of light manas that were less mixed with other manas due to the density of light mana as a whole.

"There are also healers here and others with light affinity." Walker pointed out a group waiting to greet them. Alice was standing in front of them clearly excited to meet the radiant light elves but also glancing at Walker constantly.

She had been exceptionally busy and so had Walker. The time apart had let them both learn in their respective focuses. Now they could catch up if they had the chance which either was glad for.

Looking beyond this, Walker was surprised to see that six years older light dragons had landed and were waiting. Two were unable to take their dragonkin form but the others calmly sat with what appeared to be tea and tables set up for them to rest at. Luxury was just that, but some went out of their way for it.

This would be an interesting meeting, as Alma also arrived just moment later with many elves behind her.
