Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential-Chapter 172: Requirements for the New Skill, Time To Visit
Chapter 172: Requirements for the New Skill, Time To Visit
When the demon got the news that those seven forces sent all of their Sovereign-rank Tamers to deal with Mr. Sirius, only to get all of them killed, they were honestly appalled.
The heads of ten demon families held a meeting because this was very concerning.
If Mr. Sirius didn’t help with the calamity because of that, it would be a disaster, literally.
Moreover, five days had passed since the incident, and Mr. Sirius hadn’t made his appearance in any city.
The Alliances of both continents were still preparing their Tamers for the calamity, but the power of those seven forces was significantly weakened.
There were only two or three Sovereign-rank present in those seven forces, who didn’t go as they were overseeing the training and preparation of the Tamers to fight against calamity.
Meanwhile, the other four forces had around fifty Sovereign-rank Tamers in each, essentially making them dominant forces of the Nexus City.
Of course, their headquarters in higher-ranked worlds were still equal to Sovereign-rank Tamers up there were not considered in the equation to measure a force’s power.
So the alliance of the eleven forces still had to be maintained.
However, this lower-ranked world was a source to get more Tamers for them, and with those seven forces weakening, and the bad news about them spreading, the Tamers were not keen on joining them.
Fifteen days had passed since the incident, so only three days remained until all the fighting forces from both continents went to the Undernight Continent via their portals.
The Demons had opened multiple portals in both cities after the incident, and also tried to find Mr. Sirius, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Duraians, Ouroboros Hall, Dreamforged Guild, and Razorshade Syndicate didn’t bother finding Mr. Sirius because they knew if he wanted to appear, he would appear.
But they were also concerned about his help to fight against the calamity because without him, the future seemed bleak.
And since native people of this lower-ranked world who were born here couldn’t ascend to a higher-ranked world without reaching Sovereign-rank, they were trapped here.
The godly war between Demons and Monsters was reflected in these rules, as original gods of this monster world had made such sections and restrictions to eliminate Demons who created the contract law to tame the Monsters, as well as other races that tame monsters and subject them to slavery.
Naturally, they looked favorably upon those who treated Monsters like a family.
But Demons used Monsters in a horrible way.
John wanted to see for himself and judge the Demons. Although he did say he would help in the calamity, the plan he had in mind regarding the calamity did not exactly align with the demons or other humans.
John also reached the peak of King-rank by eating fruits and absorbing soul cores of monsters during the adventures in islands, mostly special dimensional islands at the chaotic center of the Archipelago, and so did Jibril, Yuna, and Max. But they stopped here because everyone needed to increase their other parameters and train their Monsters to catch up to them.
Max and Yuna also began practicing the right way of training Monster Geno Art, and John gave them new ones with more advanced attributes.
The last fifteen days were all spent on training and eating those custom attribute fruits to enter enlightenment and increase the mastery level, but it wasn’t that easy since the chances of gaining enlightenment were not guaranteed.
Moreover, a single enlightenment wasn’t enough to level up mastery after reaching level 5, as found by Azelis.
Still, everyone made sufficient progress.
John reached level 5 in Bloodscript, level 4 in Metal, level 5 in Voidspace, level 4 in Gravitalon, and level 3 in his new mastery—Wraithlight, a variant of Light.
This made his Starlight Rider soul technique instantly more powerful as his maximum distance at the peak of King-rank became 5 kilometers. Most importantly, the speed of Starlight Rider’s travel increased, which in turn increased the amount of kinetic force he could gather and apply to any immediate attack he released after using Starlight Rider.
Jibril, Yuna, and Max were mostly at level 3 and 4 masteries in their attributes, but Yuna’s Ruinblaze Mastery that replaced her normal Flame mastery reached level 5 as she gained more enlightenments when eating Ruinblaze fruits.
...
3 days until the convergence of Tamers at the Calamity Region’s border.
A floating island appeared over the Nexus city.
John reckoned the forces must have brought a bunch of resources and money down here, so it was time to acquire them.
He wasn’t exactly out of stock, but he wanted to increase the production of Molding Essence because the next upgrade of Monster Paradise cost 100 million Molding Essence.
But the most important reason was the new skill he unlocked from the Rune of New Beginning after breaking through to King-rank, which also unlocked a new section in his soul space.
Eldritch Gear Forge: A place to forge gears using Monsters’ soul cores, Geno Points, and Eldritch Energy, which must be gathered by entering the Abyss Labyrinth.
Abyss Labyrinth was not accessible to him, even though he unlocked the Eldritch Gear Forge.
That is because many of Chuthulos’s brothers and sisters were working in it, and it was their collective effort that made this skill possible. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
It was a vast interdimensional realm, but to enter there required a lot of energy, and only the energy that originated from their ancestor, Azathoth, could let John and others enter there—Molding Essence.
Yes, it required 50 million Molding Essence for a single entry into the Abyss Labyrinth, so for five people, he needed 250 million Molding Essence.
This was also one of the reasons John wanted to ascend to the higher-ranked world, where he could acquire Legendary-rank and higher-ranked resources, which could produce more Molding Essence.
According to Chuthulos, if John wanted to win against Demons in proper fights, he absolutely needed the Eldritch Gears.
And so, it was time to empty the pockets of all forces.
People of the Nexus City saw the island, and somehow, a relief washed over them.
Mr. Sirius is here!
He isn’t gone yet!
The Tamers of the four forces that supported him were overjoyed and quickly hurried there.
John conducted an auction and sold a lot of items this time, since the one thing he didn’t lack was Xhal Drops.
Because he was effectively gaining 100 times or more for the value of the things he sold.
Selling an item he bought by sacrificing a couple of Sovereign-rank resources for 50 Sovereign-rank resources and tons of Essence Coins was pure profit.
After he was done conducting business in Nexus City, he went to Brelial City and did the same.
In total, he acquired over a thousand Sovereign-rank resources from both cities’ forces.
His Molding Essence production reached 11.3 million per day.
"Now then, it’s time to visit the demons properly," John said as he looked at the device he got from Sovitra.
"The Demons are overbearing, and to them, the lives of monsters are merely like lifeless tools, right? We haven’t seen them in action yet, but that’s the word around," Azelis said as she looked at John. "So what do you have in mind, John?"
"If they are like that, then I know you will not help them," Yuna said as she remembered how John suffered with his monsters even though he didn’t need to.
"Well, if they are indeed like that, then I’ll cook up a plan."
"A hell for demons?" Jibril smiled.
Max laughed. "That sounds perfect."
