Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 2106: Hearing it from her
It took a few days, but the feather was restored to its proper size in time.
Though the proper size of this feather really was something else with how big it was in the end.
This was a feather that was over ten meters tall and several meters wide.
Even though it was a feather, it really looked like it could crush someone just from falling on them.
But the wind elementals didn’t seem afraid of this feather at all. The way that they were looking at the feather was as if they were worshipping this thing.
Though to be fair, this was the thing that had kept them safe all this time.
When it was done, it looked like they couldn’t wait to host a ceremony.
This time, I didn’t share the same idea with them to use the corruption energy since there were far more things to deal with.
When it was over, the wind elemental ancestor came out to send us off. However, I could see from the way that it looked over in Lupus’ direction, there was a reason why it had come to see us off.
It was better to say that it had come to talk about something.
I could even see the guilt that it seemed to feel towards Lupus because of the conversation between us.
In the end, the wind elemental ancestor didn’t actually say anything.
Lupus was the one that broke the silence by saying, "I know what you’ve said and it’s fine."
The wind elemental ancestor seemed relieved when it heard this, but it turned to look at me as if it was blaming me for everything. Seeing this, I couldn’t help narrowing my eyes to look at the wind elemental ancestor.
It was just that the wind elemental ancestor didn’t seem to care that I was looking at it, it just seemed to care what Lupus was thinking.
The relationship between them seemed to be quite the deep one for the wind elemental ancestor to be acting this way. It was clear that they had been close a long time ago and time didn’t seem to ruin their relationship.
After saying this, we left the home of the wind elementals and sealed it up once more.
But once we were on the surface, Lupus suddenly stopped all of a sudden.
The others looked over at us with confused looks, especially since we were still inside of the gas. Lupus was the one that was pushing it aside with her wind, so it wasn’t as if they could go anywhere unless she moved with them.
However, to their surprise...
"What is going on with the gas?"
"Why is it suddenly falling?"
"Stop that!"
Nothing that they said made the gas stop surrounding them.
I didn’t do anything either since I knew that it was Lupus who was doing this and she didn’t actually mean any harm by doing this. What she was doing was using the gas to cut us off from the rest of the group just so we could have some private time to discuss some things.
I knew that she didn’t have any hostility towards the others.
When we were cut off from the rest of the group, she suddenly said, "I guess that you must have heard about my past."
I didn’t say anything and just gave a nod in response.
Lupus didn’t say anything either as she just looked at me in silence.
Normally I would say that I had a good read on her face even though she was a wolf, but this time I really couldn’t see anything from the expression on her face.
It seemed that this time she had a complete poker face on.
It wasn’t hard to guess why she was acting this way, but I didn’t say anything in the end as I waited for her reaction first.
Without knowing how she was feeling, it was hard for me to say anything.
"Now that you know, there’s nothing to hide from you. However, the one thing that I have to say is that I’m not someone that needs pity."
This wasn’t something that I completely agreed with, but I didn’t let it show on my face.
"This is how I was born and raised, so there’s nothing wrong with it."
The firm tone in her voice made it very clear what she was feeling which was why I gave a nod in response.
It didn’t seem like Lupus was about to say anything else after this, but I had something that I had to say.
"Don’t think about what happened in the past, you’re one of us now."
Though it didn’t really mean much, that was the only thing that I could say to her.
Lupus didn’t seem to react all to this at first, but then she gave a small nod.
While it wasn’t as if this was a major breakthrough, at least it seemed like there was some kind of breakthrough in the relationship.
There was no doubt that this would make things easier in the future with Lupus.
Since there was nothing else to be said, Lupus started pushing the gas aside once more.
It didn’t take long for us to come out of the gas, but there were gazes that were cast in our direction the moment that we came out.
This was only to be expected since Lupus had basically kidnapped me with the way that she had sent everyone away.
So in the end, I told them all that it was fine.
We were just having a private conversation between the two of us.
There were looks of doubt on their faces and they seemed wary of Lupus, but that was just how it was for the way that she acted.
It would take a while for them to trust her again, but there was nothing else that she could do in this situation.
At least I knew that there was a better connection between the two of us.
