When Kian arrived in the garden again he saw Luan still napping peacefully, he smiled and made his way back to his side.
"Young Master, your faithful servant is back," he softly said, waiting for Luan to open his eyes.
Luan opened his eye and looked dissatisfied. "Did Mom reject you becoming my butler?"
"I'm sorry master, it has become a habit of mine to call you young master." Kian remarked as he deeply bowed.
Luan had a smile on his face as he stood up. "I was just teasing you; don't worry about it, Kian, so Mom will take care of all the rejected applications?"
"Ah, I might have forgotten to mention that." Kian blurted out. Thinking back to the banter between Drago and Hana. "Well, I'm sure she'll take care of it; you can consider it done."
Luan narrowed his eyes, staring at Kian for a moment, then turning around, he sat back down at the desk. "Let's finish these documents today and then tomorrow start the interviewing process."
Kian nodded, took a seat opposite Luan, and they both started carefully going through the last of the documents.
That evening Luan and Kian worked through the last of the documents. By the time they finished, the sun had long set, and sleep came quickly.

The next morning, after eating another elaborate breakfast, Luan and Kian went to the same spot they were in yesterday.
"This garden is beautiful; working here makes all the difference." Luan said as he lazily leaned back against a tree.
"Agreed, young mast... my lord." Kian said, as he stood there with impeccable posture, ready to fulfill any command Luan had.
Luan ignored Kian's slip-up; he would need some time to get used to it, and that's fine. "Now what's the planning for today, Kian?" he asked, a yawn escaping from his mouth.
"First you have time to test out your second sigil in the morning, and then in the afternoon we will start interviewing the people whose documents we found satisfactory." Kian replied.
"Alright, same thing as yesterday then. Don't let anyone disturb me unless it is urgent." After giving his order, Luan corrected his posture.
Crossing his legs, closing his eyes, and slowly breathing in and exhaling. This time, instead of the crown mark on his right hand, he focused on the mark that covered his entire back.
When he had asked Kian to describe it, Kian had said it resembled a spiritual being bowing toward a human
Which gave Luan the idea that he could tame or make a pact with spirits, which he was looking forward to.
'Empty your mind; think of nothing but the name of the sigil and focus on the mark on my back,' he thought.
Then, as he kept repeating the name, sigil of the spirit's pact, half an hour later he felt the mark on his back heat up as well.
Kian, who was standing next to him, also saw it; even though he was wearing the same silk black shirt as yesterday, the mark was so flashy it shone right through the shirt.
A rush of knowledge flooded his mind. Just like yesterday, the sigil's abilities unfolded before him, clear and undeniable.

After the sigil's info appeared in his mind, he prepared himself for the visions. He was excited to see how others used this sigil in the past, but nothing happened.
Instead he felt his back heat up hotter and hotter; the mark kept shining brighter and brighter until it reached the climax.
Then something popped out of his back, slipping through his shirt. Kian stood there, dumbfounded. He had expected the glow to fade, but instead, it intensified until suddenly, something emerged from the mark.
It was a strange sensation for Luan; after activating the sigil and gaining the information about it, he felt like something just appeared inside the mark on his back.
One moment there was nothing, and the next there was something alive inside the mark that was trying to get out, and after a while it did pop out.
Quickly opening his eyes, he turned to where his back was facing, and what he saw there left him speechless.
A small, see-through, pear-shaped organism was floating there with round eyes and a small mouth; it looked like a pear if it had arms, legs, and eyes.
"What... in the world is that?" Luan blinked, rubbing his eyes as if the creature might disappear. But no, it floated there, round-eyed and expectant. 'Did I just... give birth to that?' A shiver ran down his spine at the thought.
Kian simply stared at the small creature. "I have no idea, young master. Why are you asking me that? It popped out of your body." He stated his expression was a mix of disbelief and confusion.
"That's... a good point. But even I have no clue why or how that popped out of me." Luan replied, trying to grasp what was happening right now.
"Also, let's stop saying it popped out of me; that makes it sound weird. And it gives me the shivers." He ordered.
"Understood, my lord." Kian said with a bow.
"Want me to go and get the madam? She is very knowledgeable. So maybe she has an idea or answer."
"That's a good idea. Go and get her I would like to know what that thing? I'll just call it thing for now." Luan said.
It was incomprehensible what had just happened; he tried to come up with an explanation but couldn't come up with a single one, so he just leaned back against the tree again, hands clasped behind his head.
Waiting for Kian to return.
