The Princess Kidnapping System Made Me OP-Chapter 77: Welcome to the Adventurers’ Guild
Chapter 77: Welcome to the Adventurers’ Guild
Preparations for training the Princesses were going smoothly. They had bought their training gear, including clothes, gotten a place and even stocked up on food.
Now there was only one thing hindering them, their adventurer’s ID.
In order to prevent regular civilians from running into the ruins without authorisation, the city made it mandatory for those hunting in the ruins to either be an Adventurer or an official knight.
After getting their things ready, including everything they would need for their first day in the ruins, they left their new house, only to be greeted by a pleasant surprise—
Esme lifted her hand and watched as a glittering white substance landed on her fingers, before melting. "Snow..." Esme muttered, a smile on her face as she watched the sky.
The streets all around them were covered in a generous layer of white, making it look as though the clouds had descended.
People had already been wearing winter clothes since the biting cold began, but now it was even more prominent.
Wise stared at the city which somehow managed to look even more beautiful, and stuffed his hands into his pocket before he began walking ahead.
"Let’s go."

One carriage ride later and they were staring at the guild. It was an imposing building, towering high up into the sky and placed in one of the busiest parts of the city.
There was a reinforced double door at its entrance, with a sigil above it, an image of the sun with two swords crossed below it.
Wise pushed the door open and was greeted by the warmth of the interior, as well as the quiet hum of conversation.
The first floor was expansive, spanning several metres. By the right part of the hall were the business facilities, there were several stands with guild receptionists ready to attend to their every need.
But the left side of the building was the common area, where tons of tables, couches and recreational equipment were occupied by countless socialising adventurers.
While the girls took their time to observe the environment, Wise could feel countless eyes on them, most of them being directed at the girls.
The murmurs were already beginning to form and unknown to them, Wise could pick out even the slightest details.
"Is that the only guy in the party?"
"One guy, four hot girls, lucky bastard."
"Hey, that Ork is giving me dirty looks."
One sharp glare was enough to keep most of them at bay, but this was an adventurers’ guild, there were always those that would not be deterred.
"Good morning!" came a cheery voice from his front.
Wise tore his eyes from the adventurers, his gaze settling on a very petite woman. Outwardly, she looked no older than thirteen, but from her guild uniform he could tell that she was far older.
Her blonde hair was packed in two long ponytails, and her ruby red eyes held a mischievous tint within them.
"Are you adventurers from another city? Or are you here to register?"
"We are here to register."
Without warning, the lady grabbed his hand and pulled him along with her.
"Right this way."
She led them to her desk and began working through the papers. "I am Charlotte, and since I registered you, I will be your guild representative and broker okay?"
Wise could see a quiet greed in her eyes. It seemed Charlotte had an eye for strength, one that superseded natural abilities.
From the happy tune she was humming as she pulled out the paperwork, Wise could tell that to her, she had hit the jackpot.
The way adventurers’ guilds worked was that each party was assigned a representative. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
This representative was responsible for trading their monster parts and handing out quest rewards.
The better the party, the richer their representative would be...
Wise sighed and turned to the girls. "You guys can get something to eat while I sort through these papers."

The adventurers’ guild had a pretty decent cafeteria at the other side of the room, so they did not have to leave the guild.
Since it was morning, the line was sparse and the food was steaming hot. As an invigorating aroma drifted into Aofie’s nose, she glanced through their collection, her eyes lingering on the meat dishes a second more than others.
"Aofie, what are you getting?" Daphne asked as she pointed to the food she wanted.
"That one over there," Aofie replied. It was a meat-filled bun that was dripping with a generous serving of sauce.
Esme had a finger on her chin as she greedily stared at a slice of pumpkin pie. Daphne did not need to ask her to know what she would be having...
Freya on the other hand went with a simple dish, coconut bread and a cup of coffee.
After getting their food, they located a table that was free and a bit far from the crowd before settling down to eat.
Aofie picked up the meat bun and took a large bite, then let out a satisfied sigh as the meat melted in her mouth.
The taste was simply sublime! After spending so long eating fish on the ship, the taste of meat was like having a taste of heaven, no, it was even better!
"Guys, don’t look but some boys are walking our way..." Esme whispered sharply, sneaking glances behind Aofie.
"Really?" Freya asked, her attention immediately piqued.
Daphne continued eating, completely unbothered while Freya was stealing glances whenever she would sip from her cup of coffee.
As for Aofie, she turned and stared straight at them without a care in the world, withouth the least bit of decorum.
"Aofie!" Esme sharply whispered, covering her face with her hand in embarrassment.
Walking toward them was a group of three — a Hero, a Tank, a Healer and an Assassin.
The Hero stopped just a few feet away from the group and bowed, a cocky smile on his face as his head went low.
"Greetings ladies, I am Elias Skywalker."
