It was a simple moment for Walker to sense the densest earth mana. He was surprised that it was in such a small area yet affected a larger area. Then again, it wasn’t just the largest amount of mana that could cause issues in an environment. It was the density of mana as well.

Dense mana of any form could cause space to warp or cause either manas to react poorly. A dense droplet of water mana dropped in to a fire could still put it out and cause a burst of sparks to fly away in the process. It was just about how the mana was used and in what density at times.

The forest elves who had come to escort them wet emit fools, they understood that Walker knew exactly where the disturbance was. His mana sensing and control is high enough. However, they were very glad to see him using the tree walking skills to move through the forest.

He was respecting them in their home while also showing what he had learned so long ago. Besides this, some of them with more attunement to nature noticed that Walker was moving some pollen from flowers or using small bits of earth mana to bury seeds.

A small gesture but one that Walke had decided to do as a habit. He’d begun doing so when moving through some farm fields. Not to break their flow of work or to control anything, some fields were massive and rain or wind caused some seeds not to be covered by soil and grow. If this helped then he was glad to put that small amount of effort in to it.

Following some of the larger tree roots and noticing the edge of the braided vine wall that the forest elves made, Walker realized just how close the dense earth mana was to their city.

They hadn’t been worried simply because it was their first. The elves worried because this was so close to their city that of an issue occurred there would surely be harm done. People would suffer or get killed by this situation. Especially knowing that it was such a larger potential issue that Walker himself had to handle it.

"Sir, we have several mages awaiting you." One of the elves had just joined them. It seemed they were trying to move just as fast as him getting everyone Walker might need to assist.

"Thank you. That was very quick. That should make everything move more efficiently." Some relief appeared on the escorting elves’ faces. They seemed to take this as a reason for their safety to be guarded even more.

As Alma watched Walker move, she stopped next to him when he had stopped. He was looking at the ground then to the small group of echidna, elven, and even two angel mages waiting for them. They had all come to help but they were not the main focus of Walker.

He looked at the soil, which was roughed up making it seem like someone had just tilled it to prepare a field of planting. He also sensed the denser earth mana causing this strong aerating effect. The soil was being shuffled up more than a natural phenomenon. Yet, there were still plants growing in some parts where others, it seemed the smaller bushes or even a few larger tree roots had been crushed and killed.

"We have awaited your arrival. We have been sensing this growth of earth mana in this one area more and more." The echidna mage was a unique mage Walker had actually met before. Her class now showed to him as, nature sight mage.

A nature sight mage communed with nature and used natural effects within nature to use their magic. If it rained they could use water magic skills better. If they saw a flow of wind, they could use that. However, they did not have the ability to causally do so unless that man was strong within an area. It was extremely limiting but very much enlightening in the true flow of nature as a whole.

"It feels very condensed ahead. I can see where some trees have uprooted themselves upon losing the solid foundation for their roots."

"That’s why we came so quickly. I brought Walker but he needs to make sure the first remains healthy while he works." Alma chimed in after Walker. She also pointed to the mapping orb, "Walker is also testing the new magic item to map the area here and help the mapping process."

"I have been mapping as we move. When I return to the Genesis building I will go and check our fancy new magic tool." Walker smirked a little. He was very excited to see what the result would be. How a mana dense area would appear on it.

He felt that he would see the area highlighted with earth mana on the diamond pieces but he wondered if the terrain changes would be as pronounced. Right here in front of him the earth was very different. However, in the globe it might not show a change that wasn’t as drastic as a building or plowed fields.

"There’s a single point where the mana is condensing though. We are worried it’s corrupted mana." One of the angel mages spoke up. The other mages all nodded or voiced their own worries of this.

"I can sense that too. You’re right, there’s a single point with even denser earth mana. It’s even being drawn in too." The closer Walker stepped toward the mana center the more his feet sunk in to the soil. It was soft from being turned over but it also felt somewhat unsteady because of this.

Great for smaller plants to grow but terrible for any stability or larger trees to take anchor in. It would be very dangerous if any of the elven treehouses were affected. They spent generations growing and shaping them. Losing one was a loss of years of hard effort and careful focus. It was an entire profession of knowledge too.

He stepped in to the air for stability before noticing ahead passed some fallen trees a larger hill of soil.

Sitting right at the top was a small flower. Dark brown with a few leaves but nothing much else. Walker sensed the deeply concentrated earth man within and realized that it had to be the reason the earth mana in the area was so dense.

This flower sits dormant as just dried roots for a hundred years. It rarely blooms even when it does manage to grow. It requires immense earth mana to be able to bloom which causes the terrain in the area around it to change and become incredibly soft. It can also cause earthquakes depending on where it grows.

While not inherently dangerous, this earth flipping flower was once the best way to safely soften the earth for growing crops when dangerous monsters roamed the land and races could not be in the open for long periods of time.

It was once used for war causing a mountainside to collapse in to a landslide destroying villages along a border.

These flowers can be used to craft nearly every earth affinity potion or medicine that requires dense and our earth mana. The skills needed to utilize it are necessary at the highest of levels. Weaker mana control will cause the mana to break away from the flower and degrade the material itself...’

"So you are what’s keeping the earth mana here. You finally had the chance to bloom and you took it. That’s ok, I will transplant you somewhere safer." Walker used his earth mana manipulation to make the entire root system underneath the earth flipping flower rise. It was like a potted plant now.

Even just doing that, the separation of the flower from the earth Elise was the flow of earth mana around allowing it to begin dissipating. Some addition of other manas could easily solve the problem here and then a little planting could reclaim the softer soil in to a more stable state.

He did notice how well fertilized this area was. The churning of soil and incorporated dead growth in to the soil and allowed it to decay better. Meaning that now this soil was much more enriched than the soil some distance away.

It was a hidden boon for this worrisome event.

When Walker got back in sight of the others he saw the mages abuzz with how they felt the earth man suddenly change. "You can all manage the area now. I highly recommend planting valuable herbs here and making it a small garden. The soil is perfectly enriched because of this little flower." Walker began explaining the random situation they had discovered and how it might happen elsewhere if manas are condensed enough.

This was another ancient event brought in to their more modern world.
