My Girlfriend Is So Beautiful, But She's an Assassin!-Chapter 81: Drink Coffee Before Competition
At 08:10.
"EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE ON THE FIELD!" shouted the student council president over the loudspeaker.
All the students and teachers began lining up on the field.
"ANINDYA! GO BACK TO YOUR CLASS LINE!" Lia said using the loudspeaker.
"Look, Ms. Lia’s scolding you" Julian said.
"Just leave it alone" Anindya said.
All the male students, watching Anindya’s pampered demeanor, began to feel irritated and jealous.
"DAMN, WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HIM!?"
Not wanting to cause a scene, Julian began to let go of Anindya’s embrace and pushed her back to her class line.
"Um, Julian?" Anindya asked.
"We’ll continue after the flag ceremony" Julian said.
After that, the flag ceremony began. The entire class was seen wearing t-shirts, shorts, and long pants in different colors, along with eye-catching accessories like Indonesian flag stickers on both cheeks and Indonesian headbands—creating a unique impression in the middle of the flag ceremony field.
The Indonesian flag raising was accompanied by the solemn singing of the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" by all participants and musical accompaniment from the club marching band.
At the end of the flag ceremony, the participants stood at ease. Lia walked to the podium and delivered the speech as the instructor.
"Umm... Test test test," Lia said, who was testing the microphone.
"Ms. Lia again, huh? I’m even more curious about what our principal looks like" Julian thought to himself.
"Assalamu’alaikum, participants" Lia said.
All participants responded to Lia’s greeting.
"On this bright morning, we are holding a flag ceremony to commemorate our nation’s independence," Lia said.
"In addition to the flag ceremony, the school will hold various competitions and community activities as a way of honoring our heroes," Lia continued.
The students watched intently.
"This activity is not just about winning or losing, but about cooperation, sportsmanship, and love for the country. I hope all students will participate in an orderly and responsible manner," Lia said.
"And to the teachers and student council members, please supervise this activity closely. Don’t let anyone fight with each other" Lia said, looking at the teachers and student council members.
The teachers and student council members nodded.
"Finally, I remind all students to maintain good behavior and discipline, especially during school activities," Lia continued.
The speech concluded with a slight nod from the ceremony leader.
"THE CEREMONY IS OVER. THE TROOPS ARE DISMISSED!" the ceremony leader shouted.
The ranks began to disperse slowly, accompanied by the marching band instruments, and the field was once again filled with the sound of footsteps and light conversation.
"JULIAN~" Anindya said, immediately embracing Julian’s right arm.
Julian was no longer surprised, as he was already used to it. Anindya’s three friends approached from behind.
"Anindya... Can’t you just go one day without Julian?" Desy asked, her right eyebrow slightly raised.
"No! Even though I’m sick, I still think about him, look at his photos, dream about him—" Anindya said confidently.
Julian immediately covered Anindya’s mouth with his right palm.
"O-oi, stop already, you’re embarrassing me!" Julian said firmly.
Anindya’s three best friends were shocked by this statement, some of them blushing.
"N-never mind, even if she’s separated, she’ll still try to get close to Julian" Desy said.
"Lick!"
Julian was immediately shocked, his whole body breaking out in goosebumps.
"HIIIK!" Julian said.
"Hm? What’s wrong, Julian?" asked Desy, who was chatting with Delima and Wulan.
"N-nothing, hahaha" Julian replied, laughing awkwardly and his body trembling.
Desy raised her right eyebrow again and crossed her arms over her chest.
"How long are you going to—" Desy said.
Suddenly, Wiro came from Desy’s left side.
"YOOO, SWEET GIRL!" Wiro said, embracing Desy’s shoulders with his right arm.
Desy was immediately shocked.
"What are you doing here? You must be..." Wiro said happily.
Desy’s body trembled.
"...looking for—"
Desy released Wiro’s embrace, faced him, and threw her right fist.
"YOU PERVERTED MAN!!!!" Desy shouted, punching Wiro in the right cheek.
"BUFFGH!" Wiro groaned.
Wiro fell to the ground.
"Why aren’t you scared?" Delima asked Wulan.
"Eh? Maybe I don’t sense Desy’s murderous aura" Wulan replied with a toothy smile.
Delima couldn’t help but keep a blank expression. A moment later, Desy’s angry voice was heard.
"Enough!" Desy said, straightening the collar of her shirt.
"I’m going to help my class leader set up the stage decorations!" Desy said angrily, walking away from them.
"Th-then, we’ll also help our class prepare for the competition," Wulan said with an awkward smile and waved her right hand at Julian.
"Anindya, don’t take too long. You also have to prepare for the relay race," Delima said.
Anindya—whose mouth was still covered—nodded. They both raised their right hands and said
"Bye~"
"B-bye~" Julian said, smiling awkwardly and waving his right hand.
"B-bye..." Wiro said, still asleep on the field, weakly.
Anindya also waved her right hand, but because her mouth was still covered, only her eyes seemed to smile. After that, he removed his hand from Anindya’s mouth.
Julian looked at his palm and saw Anindya’s saliva on it. His expression immediately turned to disgust.
"What’s wrong with you, Julian?" Anindya asked with an innocent smile.
"This girl... Doesn’t she know what she did wrong?" Julian wondered, annoyed.
Julian pinched Anindya’s left cheek and said,
"DON’T YOU SEE WHOSE DROOL IS THIS, HUH!?" Julian asked with an annoyed expression and tone, showing his palm, which was now wet with Anindya’s saliva.
"OW! OW! OW! IT HURTS JULIAN, MY CHEEK IS HURT!!!" Anindya screamed.
Julian immediately came to his senses and immediately removed his hand from her cheek.
"S-sorry, I didn’t—" Julian said with a regretful expression and tone.
Anindya turned around, covered her face with her palms, and ran away, saying
"WUAAHH!!!, JULIAN, YOU IDIOT!!!" Anindya screamed, running away from Julian.
"Ah..." Julian said regretfully.
"She’s gone..." Julian continued.
Julian lowered his head and muttered. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"What should I do?"
Shortly after, someone touched Julian’s right shoulder. Julian looked back and saw Wiro already standing, Anto on his right, and Alvin on his left, all three wearing the same clothes as Julian.
After that, the four of them headed to the school garden near the second building. There, they saw several stalls set up by various majors. The stalls looked simple, students were allowed to set up multiple stalls as long as they didn’t damage the plants in the garden.
The three of them chose the outdoor cafe belonging to the 11-SW class because they wanted to take a break and have coffee after work. The waitresses were wearing cute t-shirts and animal ears.
The three of them sat in the right corner, overlooking the outside of the room, their table in the second row from the back. Wiro sat in the front with Anto to his right, and Julian in the back with Alvin to his left. They sat facing each other, and one of the waitresses approached them.
"Cindy~, your bunny ears look so cute, hehe~" Wiro teased, chuckling.
Cindy’s current look: yellow hair in a French bob, both eyes still blue, wearing a white t-shirt with a SpongeBob cartoon image, a short denim, knee-length denim skirt, and a white bunny ear headband.
Cindy smiled and gently hit Wiro’s back with the menu, saying,
"Hahaha, your mouth is sweet as usual, it’s making me blush~" Cindy said.
Cindy stopped hitting Wiro.
"But, starting today, don’t tease me too much, okay?" Cindy said.
"Ohhh~! Don’t tell me you’ve got a boyfriend!?" Wiro asked, hitting the table with both palms.
Cindy covered her mouth with the menu—her cheeks slowly turning red, she began to nod her head slowly.
"Tch, that means I can’t tease you anymore," Wiro said sadly.
Cindy straightened up and said.
"I’m looking for a boyfriend, to prevent flirtatious guys like you!" Cindy replied firmly.
Wiro glanced at Cindy with a smile.
"Okay, never mind, whoever it is, I hope he’s a good man and that your relationship lasts until marriage" Wiro said.
Cindy was delighted.
"Thank you~," Cindy said with a sweet smile.
They ordered the same thing: a hot cappuccino. After Cindy wrote down their orders, she began to leave.
"So, why are Anindya’s cheeks bandaged?" Anto asked.
"I’m curious too. I forgot to ask because I was moving the poles" Wiro said.
"Me too, because I just arrived today" Alvin said with a smile.
"Haa... Okay, okay, I’ll tell you guys" Julian replied.
Hearing that, his three friends were immediately happy.
"Yeah, she just fell" Julian said.
"Seriously?" Wiro asked.
"What caused it?" Anto asked.
"After she jogged, she bought ice cream, and then she fell because she was too happy to buy ice cream" Julian replied, hiding the truth from his friends.
"I see, so you could say he wasn’t focused while walking" Alvin said, touching his chin with his right hand.
"Yeah, you’re right," Julian said.
"That’s embarrassing, but why didn’t she just keep it a secret?" Anto asked.
"Maybe because she didn’t want her boyfriend to worry~" Wiro said with a cheeky smile and pointed at Julian with his right index finger.
"Oh yeah, Mr. Boyfriend will definitely be gloomy again like last Wednesday," Anto teased.
"Hee~, so Julian could be gloomy, huh?" Alvin teased.
Julian crossed his arms on the table and buried his face in his folded arms.
"Come on, you guys, stop teasing me!" Julian said, annoyed.
Julian buried his face in the table.
"AHAHAHA!" the three of them laughed at Julian’s behavior.
After that, they stopped laughing.
"At first, I thought you were fighting because you told me that your confession was due to a loss in a game" Wiro said.
"You idiot, did you think I’d hit a woman in the face?," Julian asked, burying his face on the table.
"If we were fighting, my face would be the one getting battered" Julian continued.
"Good then, whatever happens, don’t hit women" Wiro said, glancing at a waiter who appeared to be taking their orders.
The waiter arrived and began serving their drinks. After their drinks were served, Julian lifted his head and said,
"I still can’t tell Anindya..." Julian said.
His three friends immediately fell silent, staring at Julian.
